Hiking in Luxembourg

Explore Luxembourg’s nature at your own pace

With one of the densest hiking networks in Europe, Luxembourg is a true paradise for hikers. The Ardennes region, locally known as Éislek, is especially renowned with over 200 marked trails. Did you know Éislek was the first area in Europe to be certified as a quality hiking region?

The Éislek Pied includes 18 varied trails ranging from 6.5 to over 19 km near places like Vianden, Bourscheid, and Diekirch. The 112 km Mullerthal Trail offers seven hikes across three main routes and four extra loops. Near the holiday park, you'll also find the Parc Hosingen routes, ranging from 4 to 13 km in length.

We provide GPX files for all routes, which you can easily open in apps like GPX viewer. For more tips, check out the "Ga Eens Wandelen" blog by Maaike.

Tip: Download the Komoot app (iOS / Android) on your phone for a variety of walking and cycling routes.

With the GPX viewer app (iOS), you can import route links. Tap the top-left icon, select “+”, and choose “External link (URL)”. Then paste a link from our site and the route will appear in your app.
