FAQ

Arrival & stay

You can check in between 3PM and 6PM.

Departure is before 10AM.

If you are going to arrive later than 6PM, you should contact the reception in advance. Reception staff will inform you which holiday home has been reserved for you. The key to the property is available if the deposit has been paid in advance.

Do you want to leave outside reception opening hours? Then deposit the key in the key box left by the front door of the reception.

This is not always possible due to cleaning schedules. You should check with the reception in advance if this possibility exists.

Yes on the day of arrival and departure you can still use the park facilities.

Bed linen is included in the rental price and already present in the vacation home. 

You can bring your own towels or get them as an additional service (€7 per set), as well as a kitchen towel set (€5 per set).

The house number is known upon arrival. If your booking confirmation states a house number, it is always subject to change.

In each holiday home there is an information folder where you can find all the important (emergency) numbers.

There is free Wi-Fi in the holiday home as well as almost everywhere in the park.

Of course, your pet is welcome, but this depends on the type of accommodation.

Two pets are allowed, regardless of weight or breed, in the following types of accommodations: F6, F6 Luxe, F8, F8 Plus, and F16. Please note: a combined F16 property is considered a single unit, subject to the rules for a maximum of two pets.

For accommodation types B, C, D, and E, one pet is allowed, regardless of weight or breed.

Lastly, pets are not allowed in accommodation type A.

The price per pet per night is 7 euros.

A crib and high chair are available for rent and the cost is €2 per night.

There are single box springs in all holiday homes (80x200cm or 90x200cm).

You can BBQ on your terrace/balcony during your stay. It is only not allowed to place the BBQ on the terrace table due to damage to the table. Keep in mind the safety regarding open fire and also during prolonged drought. Then BBQ'ing may be prohibited. A BBQ is not part of the inventory so you need to bring your own.

At the park

At the reception you can rent bikes. We rent mountain bikes (adult and children) as well as E-bikes. They can be rented per day as well as for several days.

Currently, our vacation park does not yet offer the possibility of charging electric cars. But about 200 meters from the park there are charging stations where you can charge your electric car during your stay.

Our holiday park has a laundromat where there are washing machines as well as dryers. Special tokens can be purchased at the reception.

There is a gas station with a mini-market not far from the park where you can buy a variety of sandwiches (also sandwiches). Either in the town of Marnach to the supermarket.

Yes you can enter and exit from the parking lots. There is no barrier in the park. However, you must leave the parking lot at walking pace and not cause any noise pollution. The park itself (near the apartments) is car-free.

Modify & cancel

The terms and conditions can be found here. You can also download/read them during the booking process before the booking is finalized.

We do not offer insurance but you may be able to arrange this through your own insurance company.

For changes and/or cancellations please refer to our Terms and Conditions. This is possible under reservation and there are costs involved.

Payments

You can pay directly after booking or through your account simply online.

Would you rather transfer the amount manually yourself? That is also possible! Keep your cost overview at hand, there is the reference we need from you. Enter this reference in the field 'description'. Transfer the payment to IBAN: LU03 0021 1854 6793 8300, in the name of Aluxtour / Domaine La Sapinière.

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The payment of your reservation must be paid in full in advance.

The prepayment must be paid within 5 days of booking. After booking, you will receive a confirmation stating the specific date by which the balance is due.

Sometimes additional energy costs or cleaning or repair work are required in a vacation rental after departure. The resulting costs will be deducted from your security deposit. You can avoid this by leaving your accommodation tidy before departure.

You will receive an email from us, about 1 week before arrival with an invitation to pay the deposit via bank transfer.

This will be refunded in a period of up to 2 weeks after departure to the bank number you provided.

Reservation

By entering the desired dates in availability you will see all currently available accommodations.

Because the requested accommodation and/or date is not available or possible.

You can contact us by mail or by phone (00352 - 92.01.06) to be sure.

A baby/young child counts as a traveling person. The maximum number of persons allowed is listed with each accommodation. This is the total number of adults and children allowed to stay in the house. No more persons are allowed.

Prices include all mandatory costs for your party. Final cleaning, bed linen, reservation fees and a flat rate for energy costs.

Would you like extras (towels, bed making, baby bed,...)? Then these costs come on top of the rental price. So the price for your vacation may vary if you come with a different number of people or book extras.

You will receive confirmation of your booking at the email address you entered when booking. It may be that this address is wrong or that the confirmation ended up in your junk mail. If this is not the case, please contact us.

You can make a reservation from the age of 18.

You can indicate a preference while booking. We include this in the comments but cannot guarantee it 100%.

Unfortunately not. But some of our properties are more accessible to guests who have a little more difficulty walking (parking closer to the property).

Certain conditions also apply to long-term stays.

This is possible, you must provide us with the details of the other guests. Please note, this is only possible if booked directly.

No, when you book you pay the price valid at that time. If for some reason a holiday accommodation is later offered at a higher discount, the lower price does not apply to bookings already made.

You will receive an email confirmation within minutes of booking.

The park is fireworks-free because it is forbidden to light fireworks in Luxembourg but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that no one will do so. Sometimes fireworks are also set off in the immediate vicinity of the park.
