Eastbelgium Action, Fun & Karting Center

Eastbelgium Action, Fun & Karting Center is a huge indoor recreation centre in Burg-Reuland, in the German-speaking part of Belgium. There are plenty of activities to do here, all under one roof. The most popular activity is indoor go-karting on the 910-metre long indoor circuit.

The Eastbelgium Action, Fun & Karting Center is situated around 10 kilometres across the border with Belgium, around 35 minutes’ drive from La Sapinière. The 6,000 m2 complex is hard to miss. Besides go-karting, there are plenty of other activities you can have a go at such as bowling, VR games, laser tag, glow-in-the-dark golf (3D mini-golf) or the unique interactive ‘cinemaction’ film experience.

These activities are also combined in special packages for 2 to 4.5 hours of fun and action!

Indoor go-karting
The indoor go-karting centre is popular among professional and recreational go-kart racers from well beyond the Belgian border. Professionals from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg clock up training laps here on the 910-metre track that is covered with special race track tarmac.

The numerous bends and chicanes ensure the circuit is challenging for even the most seasoned go-kart racers. Special junior go-karts are available for children aged 8 to 12 who are at least 1.20 metres tall. If you are 12 years or older and at least 1.40 metres tall, you can go round the track in a regular go-kart.

Every amateur racer will be given a go-kart that can go up to 70 km per hour as standard. Can you go round the track in 63.5 seconds or less? If so, you can join the other pros in a field consisting exclusively of go-karts with a top speed of over 75 kilometres per hour.

There are various shorter and longer races. The shortest race takes 11 minutes. The longest race consists of a 10-minute qualifying session followed by a 50-minute race with at least 15 participants. Will you be crowned the winner?

Fun & action
In addition to go-karting, the recreation centre offers a whole host of other things to do. We’ve listed all the activities below.

Bowling
Will you be able to throw strike after strike on one of the ten-pin bowling lanes? The LED lighting and screens will elevate your experience to another level. Bowling lanes can be booked for 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

Hollowgate VR
Put on your VR goggles and enter one of the four virtual worlds in a group of two to four players. Please note: one of the virtual reality experiences is for players aged 16 and over. The other three are suitable for players aged 8 and older.

Laser tag
Playing soldiers has never been so much fun! Pit against one another in teams of 5 to 10 people in a ‘battle zone’ covering an area of over 1,000 m2 spread over two floors. The sand underneath your feet combined with the smoke, lighting and sound effects turn this game of laser tag into a realistic experience.

7D Cinema
Engage all your senses with this 7D interactive ‘cinemaction’ film in which you play a starring role. Choose from two 3D films in which you take on a variety of opponents in realistic settings.

Escape Room
In this escape room, your task is to land a hijacked airplane safely on the ground. Will you succeed in getting into the cockpit and contacting air traffic control?

3D Mini-golf
Mini-golf in itself is fun but it’s even more exciting in a dark jungle where fluorescent sections light up and you can spot all kinds of animals through your 3D glasses.

Rodeo
Which cowboy or cowgirl can stay sitting on the bucking mechanical bull the longest? This rodeo experience is fun to combine with one of the other activities.

Battle Hunt
Do you remember the game Duck Hunt on the NES? This is a similar, but larger, version of the game. Try to get wild animals, such as deer and wild boar, in your cross hairs while on a hunt. Or opt for a more animal-friendly version and shoot at balloons, clay pigeons or targets instead.

Sumo/Fun Boxing
Pull on your sumo suit, enter the circle, and try and throw your opponent onto the mat or push them out of the ring. Will you be crowned yokozuna? Instead of sumo wrestling, you could also release your inner Mike Tyson, armed with head protection and a pair of fun boxing gloves.

Karaoke

Compete against one another individually or in teams during this karaoke competition. Who is the best singer in your group?
