🏍️ What is the 1000 Bochten event?

The 1000 Bochten event is a large annual touring ride for motorcyclists, starting in Weiswampach, Luxembourg. It is known as a classic among motorcycle rides and attracts hundreds of participants who ride together along a beautiful route through the Belgian, French and Luxembourg Ardennes.

 

📅 Weekend ride and atmosphere

The event is organised as a full motorcycle weekend. Participants can arrive at the event location from Friday onwards and enjoy live music and a strong biker atmosphere during shared activities. The ride itself takes place on Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by a convivial programme.

 

📏 Route and character

•    The main route is approximately 350 kilometres long and combines fast sections with technical curves.
•    The ride passes through picturesque Ardennes landscapes in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, featuring many bends and scenic panoramic roads.
•    There are often two route options (for example, a longer and a shorter version), with the focus on enjoying the ride rather than speed.

 

🎟️ Participation and GPS

Each year, the route is provided to registered participants and can also be loaded via GPS files. There are checkpoint stops along the way where riders can collect stamps — this is part of the experience and participation in possible prize draws.
