Planning a day out with the kids? Luxembourg has plenty for children to see and do whatever the weather.
High on the list of recommendations is Parc Merveilleux in Bettembourg, Luxembourg’s only zoo if you don’t count the smaller wildlife parks. Besides the zoo, Parc Merveilleux also has an amusement park, with various rides and a fairytale forest that is especially enchanting for younger children.
Is the weather wet or cold? If so, then a visit to the MIGO recreation centre is a good idea. Here, you’ll not only find an indoor playground but also a large indoor mini-golf course with 14 holes. Another fun place for children is Mared Indoor, with an indoor play paradise for the very young and an indoor climbing park for older kids.
