Are you a fishing enthusiast? Luxembourg offers great spots, especially along the border rivers Moselle, Sûre and Our. You need a valid fishing license to fish in these waters.

Lakes in Luxembourg are also popular among anglers. Lake Echternach is arguably the top spot for both sport and recreational fishing. It is the largest fishing lake in the region, with a rich variety of fish.

Note: To fish in Lake Echternach, you need a separate fishing permit. Day passes are available for occasional anglers, and annual cards for regulars.
