In Beaufort, in Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland, you can explore both a medieval fortress and a 17th-century Renaissance castle. The Beaufort Castles are beautifully set in nature, with the fortress framed by a cliff and a picturesque pond.

Just a short walk away is the Renaissance castle, only accessible by guided tour. Each visit ends with a tasting of the local Cassero blackcurrant liqueur – enjoyed pure or mixed with Kirsch.
