Wakeboarding and wakesurfing are some of the most spectacular activities you can do on water. You can do both water sports at Ski Nautique Grevenmacher water skiing club, which is about an hour’s drive from La Sapinière.
Founded in 1965, this is one of the oldest water skiing clubs in Luxembourg. You don’t have to be an expert to wakeboard or wakesurf here. Beginners are more than welcome! Nor do you need to be a member of the club as you can pay as a guest for each minute you spend on the water. The fee includes all necessary equipment.
What’s the difference between wakeboarding and wakesurfing? Wakeboarding is done using a wakeboard. Wakesurfing is done on a board that is a cross between a surfboard and a wakeboard. Another difference is that in wakeboarding you are towed by a line attached to a boat or cableway, while in wakesurfing you surf on a wave created by the boat without being attached to a line.
