National Museum of Military History
A powerful journey through war, resistance and peace
The Luxembourg Ardennes witnessed several battles, most notably the Battle of the Bulge in WWII. At the National Museum of Military History in Diekirch, lifelike dioramas and 3D displays bring these stories vividly to life, including the role of the Luxembourg resistance.
With over 100,000 items across 3,500 m², the museum houses the region’s largest military collection. It also highlights Luxembourg’s role in WWI, WWII, the Korean War and modern UN peace missions.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Visit the museum’s website for more info.
