Cycling to Vianden

Fast descent, challenging climb

Cycling from our holiday park to Vianden covers a drop of over 300 meters. The return ride is tougher with steep climbs, especially toward the end. Rent an e‑bike at reception for added ease.

Turn it into a day trip: stop in Vianden and visit the fairytale Vianden Castle, a top tourist highlight.

Recharge in one of the cozy cafés or restaurants serving local dishes.

Fun fact: French poet Victor Hugo lived in Vianden and wrote parts of his collection L’Année terrible there. His former home is now a museum.
