Restaurant Beim Bertchen (formerly E’slecker Stuff Beim Hunn) in Wahlhausen welcomes you warmly, whether on the terrace or indoors. Prefer take-away? You can pick up your order too.

The restaurant is known for its countryside setting and charcoal-grilled dishes made with local ingredients and generous portions—from spareribs to entrecôte, veal chop, or even a 1.2 kg tomahawk steak. Vegetarians can also enjoy a fajita or salad.

Run by Steve Martellini since 2019, Beim Bertchen traces back to around 1863. It’s named after Berthe (“Bertchen”), the iconic host until the 1990s—still visible in the restaurant’s logo.
